ISLAMABAD `(TSAT) - Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday for the first time publically named the United States behind the current political crisis in the country and wants regime change in Islamabad.

Speaking to his MPs in Prime Minister's house, Khan praised his member of parliament to rejected millions rupees of bribes and standing behind him.

“The US wants regime change in Pakistan and opposition parties playing in the hands of foreign forces,” Khan said, his speech aired on state-run PTV.

He criticized the opposition parties to join hands with foreign forces and playing with the nation's sovereignty.

“Pakistan is passing through a defining moment of history and we must choose the right path. The nation should stand for their sovereignty and protect their country's interest,” he said.

He also called for a nationwide protest against the foreign conspiracy against Pakistan and appealed to the nation to come out on Sunday for a peaceful protest.

“it is a war of the country's future and the nation has to decide which way to take the country from now onwards,” Khan said.

The parliament will meet on Sunday to decide the future of Prime Minister Khan as the opposition already submitted a no-trust motion against him on March 8.

Pakistani premier earlier said he received a threatening letter from a foreign country [ as now he named the US] in which they threatened that if no-trust motion against him succeed, they will forgive Pakistan otherwise Islamabad will face consequences.

However, on Thursday the White House rejected Khan’s claim and said they have no role in the no-trust motion against the Pakistani Prime Minister.

“This foreign country [US] is not happy about my visit to Russia and my government's independent foreign policy,” he said and adding he never bow down before anyone because he has a strong faith in Allah and doesn’t care about anyone.

On Friday Khan said his life in danger but he will not sit at home but will fight against the conspiracy and for intrest of his country.

Khan also warned his dissident MP that they would face tough legal action if anyone cast vote against his own party.

According to Khan's claim, opposition parties spent millions of rupees to buy the loyalties of MPs in the parliament and claimed  they received the money from abroad.

Khan said he will defeat the no-trust motion against him tomorrow in the parliament as the people will never allow corrupt politicians to rule the country again.

Responding to a caller's question regarding foreign policy, Imran Khan said friendly ties with all countries and national interest as topmost priority is the key pillar of his  independent foreign policy.
