10 Pakistani soldiers lost lives in terrorist attack near Iran border

 

ISLAMABAD (TSAT) - At least 10 soldiers of Pakistani security forces lost lives in terrorist attack on their check post in Kech area of southwestern Balochistan province near Iranian border.

 

According to a statement, issued from ISPR, the media wing of the Pakistan army, terrorists “fire raid” on Security Forces Check post in Kech, Balochistan on night of Jan. 25-26.

 

“1 terrorist was killed and several injured. While repulsing terrorists fire raid, 10 soldiers embraced shahadat,” said ISPR.

 

While the security forces also apprehended three terrorists during follow up clearance operation.

 

According to the military, operation is still continue in the area to hunt down the terrorists behind the attack.

 

“Armed Forces are determined to eliminate terrorists from our soil no matter what the cost,” said ISPR.

Meanwhile, a Baloch terrorist group BLF has claimed the responsibility for the attack.

 

During last two months at least seven Pakistani soldiers lost lives in terrorists attacks in the country northwestern areas near Afghanistan border.

 

Pakistan always accused India to support Baloch terrorist groups BLA, BLF and other to destabilise the Balochistan province which is gateway to multibillion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

 

Earlier a leading Indian Newspaper also reported that Baloch terrorists key leaders visited India on fake identity and some of them got treatment in Indian hospitals.

 

The $64 billion CPEC, also calling a game changer project for the region, include a network of roads, railways, and pipelines which will connect China's strategically important northwestern Xinxiang province to the port of Gawadar  in Balochistan province of Pakistan.

 

The project will also give easy access to China to the Meddle East and Africa market.

Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan strongly condemned the terrorist attack on security forces and expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of 10 Pak Army soldiers.

 

In a statement, Khan expresses sympathy to the families of the martyrs and said every drop of blood of the soldiers guarantees the security of the country.

 

“The cowardly enemy faces a strong nation that has already defeated terrorism,” Pakistani  Prime Minister said.
