ISLAMABAD (TSAT) - Pakistan government has not yet confirmed the Afghanistan claim that Pakistan Air Force targeted some villages inside their country on Saturday.

According to Dawn, a local daily the country’s foreign ministry said that they are “looking into reports” of alleged action by their forces in Kunar and Khost provinces.

“Five children and a woman were killed and a man wounded,” Dawn quoted the provincial director of information Najibullah Hassan Abdaal alleged.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid condemned the strikes and claimed refugees in Khost and Kunar were targeted.

“IEA calls on the Pakistani side not to test the patience of Afghans on such issues and not repeat the same mistake again otherwise it will have bad consequences. Problems between the two countries must be resolved through political means,” Mujahid tweeted.

However, so far the Afghan official didn’t share the exact detail about any hideouts of the Tehree-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), an umbrella organization of Pakistani terrorists, living in Afghanistan near Pakistan borders, also targeted in the air strikes.

According to the Pakistan army, 97 of their officers and soldiers lost lives in terrorist attacks in terrorist attacks in areas along with the Afghan border during the last three months.

The TTP terrorists who fled away to Afghanistan along with their families now living in Kunar, Khost, Paktia, and Paktika provinces along with the Pakistan border.

However, despite Pakistan's repeated requests, the new Taliban government so far didn’t take any action to stop TTP terrorists from using Afghan soil against Pakistan.

On Friday, the Pakistan army said terrorists ambushed a military convoy near the Pak-Afghan border in the general area of Isham, North Waziristan District, martyring seven Pakistani security personnel.

“Own troops initiated a prompt response, effectively engaged and killed four terrorists. However, during an intense exchange of fire, seven soldiers embraced Shahadat,” the ISPR had said.
