India-London Flight Crashes at Ahmedabad Airport; 242 Onboard

Ahmedabad, India : An India-bound international flight headed to London crashed during takeoff at Ahmedabad Airport in Gujarat state on Thurday. The aircraft was carrying a total of 242 people, including passengers and crew members.

According to preliminary passenger data, 169 of those onboard were Indian nationals, 53 were British nationals, 7 were Portuguese nationals, and 1 Canadian national was also among the passengers.

Authorities have not yet released details on casualties or the cause of the crash. Emergency services are on the scene, and rescue operations are underway.
