Indian norm of maligned Political manoeuvres, all attacks carried out in India have a strategic relevance.

By Shahid Shah

Balakot episode that triggered the war alarms between two nuclear state India and Pakistan was one among the chain of events articulated by Indian establishment. The unbalanced Pak-India relations due to the warmongering attitude of India faced many such incidents when the world feared a full fledge war between the nuclear neighbours.

All the attacks on India including Indian Parliament attack in 2001, Mumbai attacks in2008, pathankot in 2016 and Pulwama in 2019 have a strategic relevance. All these attacks resulted in an immediate accusation of Pakistan’s involvement without any investigation. After every attack the party in power trying to gather the emotional support from Indian people As a tactic to win the general elections.

This card of playing with sentiments and using them for political gains by putting international peace at stake were not only irresponsible but seriously damaging to the regional as well as international strategic stability. A slight miscalculation in such shameful adventures could lead to a nuclear fallout.

Pakistan has always responded to such acts with a broad vision keeping in view international peace and playing under the nuclear threshold. But the question is for how long Indians would keep damaging regional stability for the political gains. Operation swift retort following the Balakot strike is a clear indication from Pakistan That it cannot only respond to Indian aggression skilfully but also use any mean to impart a proportional damage. The international community must play its role to refrain India from using its conventional military power for political manoeuvres.
