Pakistan offers condolences for Turkiye, Syria over deadly earthquake

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan on Monday offered condolence for Turkiye and Syria after deadly earthquake caused massive damages to people and infrastructure.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said his country stands with people of Turkiye in this difficult time.
“Deeply saddened by the news of a massive earthquake that struck southeastern region of Türkiye. I send my profound condolences & most sincere sympathies to my brother President
@RTErdogan & brotherly people of Türkiye on the loss of precious lives & damage to infrastructure,” he twitted.
Sharif said Turkiye always stood behind Pakistan in every difficult time and now we will stand with our brothers and sisters in these painful moments.
Sharif also extended his sincere condolence and sympathy” to the governments and people of Türkiye and Syria.
“We send our heartfelt condolences & most sincere sympathies to the government and the people of Syria who have suffered major human and material losses from the devastating earthquake early this morning,” he added.
