ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's prominent singer Ibrarul Haq claimed that Indian filmmaker Karan Johar has stolen his song without his permission.

Haq said Johar copied his song Nach Punjaban for his upcoming film Jugjugg Jeeyo.

“I have not sold my song “ Nach Punjaban” to any Indian movie and reserve the rights to go to court to claim damages. Producers like @karanjohar should not use copy songs. This is my 6th song being copied which will not be allowed at all,” Haq tweeted and tagged to Johar.

“Song “Nach Punjaban” has not been licensed to any one. If someone is claiming it , then produce the agreement. I will be taking legal action,” he added.

Haq fans also strongly reacted over stealing his song by Indian filmmaker and asked him to take legal action against Johar.

“You should send them notice enough is enough. As they claim Pakistan is not a good country but they copy our songs, our movies, even scenes from our dramas. If Pakistan is so bad why you copy us?,” Annie Malik wrote on Twitter.

A Pakistani journalist Amnah Jabeen said “After stealing the song "Booh e baariyan" now they stole our another song "Nach Punjaban.”
