Over 20,000 khasadar, levies trains by Pakistan army

ISLAMABAD (TSAT) - Pakistan army has completed the training of over 20,000 Khasadar and Levies force of former treble districts, the military said.

According to the ISPR statement, the fourth and last cycle of the training to the former personnel of Khasadar and Levies by the Pakistan Army and FC was recently concluded in the tribal districts of Bajaur, Mohmand and Khyber districts. 

 

“These individuals will now form part of regular police force of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” it’s said.

Following merged in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, government was decided to imparted training to the former Khasadar and Levies personnels by the Pakistan army.

“The training was conducted in different fields including use of different weapons, mines & IED detection methods, public dealing, policing, search operations, counter-terrorism operations, and physical fitness,” said ISPR. 

The passing Out parade of the last batch was recently held in Bajaur District where Major General Adil Yamin, Inspector General Frontier Corps North, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also attended the event as the Chief Guest while the families of the personnel and senior civil and military officials also participated in the parade
