Pakistan army killed 4 terrorist in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan security forces on Wednesday killed four key terrorist commanders in northwestern Balochistan province during an operation, said the military.
In a statement, Pakistan Army media-wing ISPR said that an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was initiated to clear a hideout of Terrorists, linked with firing incidents on Security Forces and civilians besides planting of Improvised Explosive Devices on M-8, in general area Talsar, Hoshab.
“As a result of continuous intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) of the area, a location of the Terrorists was identified and security forces were heli inserted. While the establishment of blocking positions to cut the escape routes was underway, 4 Terrorists opened fire onto the Security Forces,” said ISPR.
“During ensuing heavy exchange of fire, all four Terrorists have been killed, while a cache of arms and ammunition including Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) has been recovered,” its added.
Terrorist group, Balochistan Liberation Army, always carrying out attacks on security forces and civilians in sone areas of the province, and the Pakistan Army is actively busy eliminating these foreign-funded elements who are destabilizing the multi-billion dollar projects underway in Balochistan.
Balochistan a mineral-rich and largest and poorest province of the country, is a key route for the $64 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, part of Beijing's Belt and Road initiative.
China is also developing the Gwadar port and is involved in other projects in the province.
