World makes India accountable for its involvement in human rights violations, war crimes, says Pakistani President

ISLAMABAD (TSAT) -  Pakistan President Dr Arif Alvi on Tuesday slammed Western countries and neighbour India for following double standard over migrants and minorities.

 

Speaking at an event at Ghotki, a city in southern Sindh province, President Alvi said that India spreading hatred and involved in human rights violations and war crimes.

 

“India fanning hatred while Pakistan bringing hearts close,” Alvi said and adding its difference between the two countries, according a statement, issued from the Presidency.

 

He accused New Delhi for committing human rights violations and war crimes in Kashmir and urged the international community to make India accountable for its crimes committed against the humanity.

 

Dr Alvi also praised his country government’s role in Afghan peace process and said Pakistan played very positive role and still continue to help the Afghan people in current difficult time.

 

“We are hosting four million Afghan refugees in Pakistan for over four decades but never they [Afghan refugees} faced any opposition or hatred in Pakistani,” he said and adding Pakistani people treating them like their own brothers and sisters.

 

However, he criticised the western countries for their dual standards on morality and ethics and said the immigrants are facing utmost difficulties and problems in that countries, according to the statement.
