Pakistan former PM Imran Khan calls ongoing crackdown against his party as 'forced divorces'
By The South Asia Times
ISLAMABAD - Pakistan former prime minister Imran Khan on Tuesday called the ongoing crackdown against his party and compelling his party's leader to leave it as "forced divorces."
Several leaders of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) left the party after massive arrest and crackdown across the country and several of them announced to leave the politics.
"We had all heard about forced marriages in Pakistan but for PTI a new phenomenon has emerged , forced divorces. Also wondering where have all the human rights organizations in the country disappeared," Khan tweeted.
