ISLAMABAD (TSAT) - Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday revealed that a conspiracy is being hatched abroad to kill him during his ongoing public campaign.

Addressing a massive gathering in the southeastern city of Sialkot, Khan told the participants that he learned that a conspiracy is being finalized in close door rooms abroad for his killing.

“There is a conspiracy to kill me and it was hatched both in a foreign country and in Pakistan, they wish to get rid of me,” Imran Khan said during his speech which broadcasted the local ARY News.

He added that a video statement he recorded and mentioned all names behind the conspiracy.

“I have recorded a video statement, revealing all names behind the conspiracy which i have kept at safe place and that video will be released for the nation if I was murdered during this independence movement,” Khan said. 

Khan’s statement spread fear and anger among the nation as a day earlier his party’s leader Shireen Mazari said that the new government has withdrawn security from Imran Khan.

Last month, the country's intelligence agencies reported to the government that Khan’s life is in danger as he is facing life threats.

Later Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered to provide foolproof security to Khan, however, according to PTI leaders, the security was withdrawn after the London meeting.

Former PM Nawaz Sharif called his younger brother and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his key cabinet ministers to London for a meeting earlier this week. Who are still in London.

Khan's criticizing Sharifs, former president Asif Zardari and JUI leader Maunlana Fazlurehman  for joining hands with the US and toppled his government last month.
