Bahrain crown prince calls Pakistani PM, condemns Lahore blast

ISLAMABAD (TSAT) - The Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Prince Salman Bin Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa condemned the terrorist attack in Pakistan last week.

 

During his telephonic conversation with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Crown Prince conveyed his government condolences and expressed soldierity with government and people of Pakistan.

 

“The Crown Prince strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Lahore on 20 January 2022, which claimed three lives and left several injured. He extended deepest condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for early recovery of the injured,” according to a statement, issued from Khan’s office.

 

Khan thanked the Crown Prince and conveyed his gratitude to the Crown Prince’s support and solidarity as well as for the sympathies and condolences.

 

The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan's firm resolve to fight terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, said in the statement.

 

The two leaders also discussed regional and global issues and agreed to further strengthen and diversify bilateral relations and enhance cooperation in the multilateral fora and close coordination on regional and global issues of mutual interest, its said.
