Uzbekistan President to Visit Pakistan in February 2026

Islamabad— The President of Uzbekistan is scheduled to pay an official visit to Pakistan in February 2026, reaffirming the growing momentum in bilateral relations between the two countries.

The visit was confirmed during a telephone conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.

 

During the call, Foreign Minister Saidov extended season’s greetings and best wishes for the New Year to the Pakistani leadership, which were warmly reciprocated by  Dar.

 

The Uzbek foreign minister also formally conveyed confirmation of President of Uzbekistan’s upcoming visit to Pakistan.

Both leaders exchanged views on key regional and international developments and expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of Pakistan–Uzbekistan relations.

 

They reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthen bilateral ties by deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade, connectivity, investment, and people-to-people exchanges.

 

The forthcoming visit is expected to provide an opportunity for the leadership of both countries to review progress in bilateral cooperation and explore new avenues for enhanced collaboration at regional and international forums.
