Afghan Taliban tells US, Biden decision is not acceptable to use its nation funds for Americans

KABUL (TSAT) - Afghan Taliban government on Wednesday told the United States that President Joe Biden recent decision regarding its country’s frozen fund is not acceptable to Afghan nation.

 

During a meeting with US and European officials in Doha, capital of Qatar, Afghan acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi said that how President Biden can decide the assets own by Afghan nation to spend on his choice, according to a statement, issued by  Ahmadullah wasiq, deputy spokesman of Taliban government. 

 

However, the US officials said that media has misinterpreted the President Biden decision and Washington will transfer the money to Afghan central bank, it’s said. 

 

“US government is working on mechanism and hope soon it will be completed,” Wasiq quoted the US officials told Muttaqi.

 

During the meeting the current humanitarian situation in Afghanistan also discussed and European officials that EU is ready to provide all kind humanitarian support to Afghanistan.

 

Responding to European and American officials concerns regarding the terrorists based in Afghanistan, Muttaqi assured them that Taliban government would not allow any group to use Afghan soil against any country. 

 

However, despite Taliban government assurance to international community, TTP and Baloch terrorists who are based in Afghanistan still planning and carrying out attacks inside Pakistan.
