Heavy fighting between Russian, Ukraine forces continues, nearly 200 killed in 3 days

KYIV, Ukraine (TSAT) - The war between Russian and Ukraine forces has entered into fourth day and heavy fighting continue in different areas across the country.

During last three day at least 198 people including Ukrainian soldiers have been killed while over 1,100 other wounded, according to officials.

 

“Devastation in Vasylkiv near Kyiv after Russian shelling during the night,” said Halyna Yanchenko, the MP of Ukraine parliament.

 

Yanchenko posted several videos and said Russian forces reached near the capital Kyiv and targeting civilian buildings.

 

On Sunday morning, Russian forces also targeted oil depot and gas pipeline near the Kyiv and videos posted on social media by local residents showed that heavy fire erupted in the oil depot after Russian hit the field. 

 

 

The local online portal, the  Kyiv independent reported that Vasylkiv, Kyiv Oblast areas located around 33 kilometers outside of capital Kyiv is under heavy assault.

 

One eyewitness described the sound of small explosions, each followed by a plume of flames. The smoke is extreme, the eyewitness told Kyiv independent. 

 

Local media also reported heavy explosions in Kyiv near the Demiivska Street, however so far no confirmed report available about the casualties.

 

Most of the areas already vacated by the civilians after Russian attacks on Thursday and local fled toward the Poland and other European countries borders. 

 

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will address a press conference later today and will share the informations with international media regarding so ongoing conflict and expected peace talks between Moscow and Kyiv.

 

The Foreign Minister also invited foreigners who want to fight along with Ukrainian and said anyone who want could come to Ukraine.

 

`”Foreigners willing to defend Ukraine and world order as part of the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine, I invite you to contact foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine in your respective countries. Together we defeated Hitler, and we will defeat Putin, too,” he tweeted. 

 

Meanwhile, the Ukraine President Zelenskyy rejected the Moscow offer for negotiation in Belarus and said he will not go to Belarus as its ally of Russia.

 

In a video statement, he said the negotiation could held at any other neutral country and vowed his forces will fight till the end.
