KABUL (TSAT) - Afghan Taliban government on Sunday has rejected some anti-Pakistan elements' propaganda, who were calling Pakistani wheat are rotten and of poor quality.

Speaking with a local journalist, the Director of the Afghan Food Ministry said they rejected the baseless propaganda which was carried out by some elements to damage Afghanistan and Pakistan relations.

"I did see this propaganda on Facebook, now I am very pleased that you came to the center and saw yourself that the news was false and it was all propaganda," the Director told a journalist who visited the food department center and shared the video on social media.

"May Allah reward Pakistan for helping the oppressed people of Afghanistan, especially for the wheat that Pakistan has now sent. May Allah reward Pakistan for it."

Abdullah Azzam, personal secretary to the acting Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Baradar also rejected the social media campaign against Pakistan and called it "fake news".

"It was confirmed that the #wheat donated by Pakistan was #ok and #eatable. The information shared was wrong and a video message of Silo director was fake,” he Tweeted.

Afghan people also condemned the people who spread propaganda against Pakistan wheat and thanked Islamabad for their help in the current difficult time.

" We should thank all those who are helping us, It's not the courage to spread propaganda and fake news," said Shafi Azam, a senior official of the Afghan Foreign Ministry.

"Those who were allies of Russia and later join hands with NATO/US against the Afghan nation, now demanding to declare war against Pakistan," Azam said and adding the new Afghan government want good relations with all its neighbors and other countries of the world

"The previous regime's opportunists dragged the country to the abyss in their anti-Pakistan crusade and lost their government in doing so. Now in exile, even humanitarian aid is not free of their propaganda, now being debunked by Afghan journalists. Rarely am I this speechless," Ahmad Waleed Kakar wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the Afghan government also removed the official who spread propaganda and called the Indian wheat quality quite good while the Pakistani wheat is rotten. While the Indian wheat has so far not reached the food center in Kabul.
