Pakistani forces killed 6 terrorists in SW Balochistan

ISLAMABAD (TSAT) - Pakistani security forces on Wednesday killed at least six terrorist in southwestern Balochistan province, the military said.

In a statement, issued from the ISPR, the media-wing of Pakistan army, said that the security forces carried out intelligence based operation in general area Injirkan Range near Buleda, Balochistan on information of presence of terrorists in the area. 

 

"Once the troops started clearance operation in the area, Terrorists tried to escape from their camp and opened fire onto security forces," said ISPR.

 

During heavy exchange of fire at least foreign sponsored terrorist were killed who were involved in recent attacks on Pakistani forces in Kech area of Balochistan. 

 

While, the forces also recovered huge cache of arms from the hideout of the Baloch terrorists, who according to Pakistani officials are sponsoring by India. 

 

"Operations to eliminate such perpetrators of terrorist acts in Pakistan will continue and they will not be allowed to sabotage peace, stability and progress of Balochistan." said the military 

 

Earlier, this month, Pakistani forces killed at least 20 terrorists  in two separate coordinated attacks inPanjgur and Naushki  areas of southwestern Balochistan province.

On Feb. 2, the BLA terrorists carried out attacks on two camps of the Pakistani forces which they repulsed, however 9 soldiers lost their lives during the 72 hours long operation against the terrorists. 

 

Outlawed Baloch terrorists group BLA claimed responsibilty for the attacks.

Earlier, Pakistani security official said, that the country's intelligence agencies intercepted the communication of the terrorists, who carried out attacks on two security forces camps in Panjgur and Naushki, with its handlers in India and Afghanistan.

Pakistan always accused New Delhi for sponsoring Baloch and TTP terrorists in the country to destablize Pakistan and targeting Chinese and Pakistani nationals who are working in the multi-billions China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.
