ISLAMABAD - A massive rally was held on Sunday in Pakistan’s capital city of Islamabad to show solidarity with Palestinian people against the ongoing brutalities of Israeli forces.

Thousands of people came out in the streets of Islamabad to join the Gaza March called by Sirajul Haq, chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, a major religious-political party of Pakistan.

Addressing the gathering, Haq condemned the ongoing brutalities carried out by Israeli forces and urged the Muslim countries to stand behind the Hamas and fight against Israel.

“Today's message from Pakistan is very clear that we are with Gaza, we are with the First Qibla,” Haq said.

He demanded to stop bombing in Gaza and give freedom to the Palestinian people.

“Millions of people in Islamabad expressed solidarity with the people of Gaza. The hearts of the Pakistani nation beat with the hearts of the people of Palestine. The government of Pakistan should join other Muslim countries and play its role to stop the bombing on Gaza and librate the First Qibla,” he said

The participants chanted slogans against the Israel and in support of Hamas and the Palestinian people.
