Pakistan premier pays tribute to its security forces for repulsing terror attacks in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD (TSAT) - Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday paid tribute to its country’s security forces for bravely fighting and repulsed the terrorist attacks in southwestern Balochistan province last night.

Baloch terrorist group BLA, attempted to carried out on security forces camps in Panjgur and Naushki areas in Balochistan province bordering with Iran and Afghanistan.

“We salute our brave security forces who repulsed terrorist attacks against security forces' camps in Panjgur & Naushki, Balochistan. The nation stands united behind our security forces who continue to give great sacrifices to protect us,” Khan tweeted.

On Wednesday evening, Pakistan army said that the security forces successfully repulsed two terrorist attack on its camps Balochistan province.

In a statement, Pakistan army said “terrorists” attacked security forces’ camps in Panjgur and Naushki areas of #Baluchistan province late evening but both attacks successfully repulsed while inflicting heavy casualties terrorists.

"In Panjgur, Terrorists tried to enter security forces camp from 2 locations. However, timely response by troops foiled terrorist attempt. During intense exchange of fire one soldier has been martyred. Terrorists have fled while their casualties are being ascertained." said ISPR.


In Naushki, Terrorists attempted to enter FC camp which was promptly responded. 4 Terrorists have been killed. One Officer has been injured during the shoot out. Intermittent firing continuing, according to the military.

Terrorist group BLA claimed responsibility for the attack.

According to Pakistani officials the BLA and other Baloch terrorist groups including TTP are sponsoring by India to destabilise the country and create hurdles for the Multi-billion China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) which will connect China with strategic Gawadar port that will help Beijing to easily get access to Middle East and African countries markets.
