ISLAMABAD (TSAT) - The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday released national song ‘Shad Rahay Pakistan’ in connection with March 23 – Pakistan Day.

The song, ‘Shad Rahay Pakistan’, highlights the very same ideology of unity, resilience and an indomitable resolve of Pakistanis, 82 years later.

“The song Shad Rahay Pakistan is a celebration of the resolve of the nation to stay united and steadfast on the path to prosperity,” ISPR, a media-wing of Pakistan army said.

“The anthem encompasses the national aspiration to always see Pakistan’s flag fluttering high. It reverberates a prayer that the country may flourish for all times to come.

The song is in tune with the resolve to keep Pakistan peaceful and on the bright path of progress,” it added.

The song also features some serene tourist spots of Pakistan.

Pakistan Day is marked on March 23 every year to commemorate the adoption of the historic Lahore Resolution in 1940 that provided a framework for the realization of the goal of a separate homeland for Muslims of South Asia.

To commemorate the historic day, a special military parade is being held in the federal capital on March 23.

This time, the grand military parade will also attend by nearly 50 Foreign Ministers of Islamic countries and other high officials, as Pakistan hosting the 48th summit of OIC Foreign Ministers on March 22 and 23 at Islamabad. 

This national celebratory song is already being much appreciated and resonating among the budding youth of Pakistan. Song comes at a time when its message of unity, brotherhood, prosperity, progress and national cohesion is much needed to bind the nation together.

Powerful lyrics, soulful voice of singers and beautifully choreographed video makes the song very special and firmly connects the viewers to its theme and beautifully sung notes. Efforts of the production team are especially much appreciable for putting together a song which has melodious transition between high and low soulful notes.

The song is already a big hit as ISPR continues to live up to its higher standards of production while it also measures up to the expectations of the people.
