
Pakistan always stands with China, PM Khan visit Beijing Winter Olympics to express solidarity with iron brother, says FM Qureshi

ISLAMABAD (TSAT) - Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Thursday said his country stood with China and will always stand in every difficult time with its iron brother.
In a statement, Pakistani top diplomat said that Prime Minister Imran Khan visit to China to participate in the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympic 2022 as part of solidarity that Islamabad stand with Beijing.
“History has shown that Pakistan and China have stood by each other in every difficult time,” Qureshi said.
He added some countries have boycotted the Beijing Olympic but Khan is going to express his solidity with its iron brother.
“During the visit Imran Khan will also meet with Chinese and other countries leaders on the sideline of opening ceremony,” Pakistani Foreign Minister said.
Imran Khan will depart on his three day visit to Beijing on Feb. 3, along with other high officials.
He is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin during his stay in Beijing.
According to Qureshi, Khan will discuss the multi-billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) next projects with Chinese leadership during his meetings.
The $70 billion CPEC which include a network of roads, railways, and pipelines will connect Pakistan southwestern Gawadar port to China's strategically important northwestern Xinxiang province.
The project will give easy access to China to the Meddle East and Africa markets.
