Peshawar High Court granted former PM Imran Khan pre-arrest bail in 14 cases

PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court on Thursday granted former Prime Minister Imran Khan re-arrest bail for 25 days in 14 cases registered against him following his long march toward capital Islamabad on May 25.

 

Government filed cases against Khan and his party leaders in Islamabad at multiple police stations over allegations of arson and vandalism in the capital.

 

The PHC Chief JusticeQaiser Rashid Khan heard the Khan's petition which was filed by his counsel Babar Awan. Khan also attended the hearing in the court.

 

The judge granted the PTI leader bail till June 25 and subsequently forwarded the orders to the additional sessions judge of Islamabad.

 

The court also advise Khan's that if there was any issue regarding this case, he can again approach to this court.
