Islamabad Welcomes ECO Region’s Calligraphy Masterpieces

ISLAMABAD - A collection of calligraphy masterpieces from across the ECO region was unveiled in Islamabad for the first time at the exhibition "Artistic Echoes: A Celebration of Calligraphy."
This event, organized by the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI)—the specialized cultural agency of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), in partnership with the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture and The Diplomat Insight (TDI), brought together the finest examples of this timeless art form under one roof, according to official statement.
The inauguration ceremony, held at PNCA, was graced by the Secretary General of ECO, Mr. Asad Majid Khan, as the Chief Guest. In his remarks, the President of ECI, Dr. Saad S. Khan, expressed his pride in presenting the first-ever exhibition of calligraphy from the ECO region in Islamabad. Dr. Khan acknowledged the exceptional talent of the artists and highlighted the importance of fostering cultural exchanges to promote unity among ECO member states.
The gallery is open for visitors for one week, providing an exceptional opportunity to experience the richness and beauty of calligraphy masterpieces from the ECO region.
With this milestone event, ECI reaffirmed its commitment to fostering cultural exchange and strengthening bonds between ECO member states through the universal language of art.
