Pakistan security forces kill seven terrorists in Balochistan operation

By Mashal Khan

RAWALPINDI — Pakistan’s security forces killed seven terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Sherani District of Balochistan on October 1, the military’s media wing said on Friday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched on credible reports about the presence of militants linked to Fitna al Khwarij, an Indian-backed proxy group.

“During the conduct of operation, own forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, seven Indian-sponsored terrorists were sent to hell,” the statement read.

Security personnel also seized weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the militants. ISPR said the group had been actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area.

A sanitization operation is underway to ensure no remaining militants are present in the vicinity.

The military reaffirmed its resolve to eliminate “the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country” and vowed to bring all perpetrators of violence to justice.
