Operation Ghazab Lil Haq: Pakistan says 133 Taliban killed, over 200 injured in retaliatory strikes

PESHAWAR, Pakistan - Pakistani security forces carried out a major retaliatory operation, codenamed Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, targeting Afghan militant positions along the border.

 

According to security sources, 133 militants were killed and more than 200 injured in the strikes. Twelve Taliban posts were reportedly destroyed, and five posts were captured by Pakistani forces.

 

Officials said the operation also destroyed a major ammunition depot, three Afghan battalions, a sector headquarters, and more than 80 tanks, artillery guns, and armored personnel carriers.

 

Security sources added that intense retaliatory operations are ongoing, underscoring Pakistan’s readiness to respond decisively to cross-border aggression.

 

Meanwhile, Pakistani security sources confirmed that they had carried out a fresh airstrike in Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia in response to "unprovoked Afghan aggression."

While two Corps Headquarters, three Brigade Headquarters, three Battalion Headquarters, two Sector Headquarters. two Ammunition Depots and one Logistics Base destroyed in airstrikes.

 

 

Security officials emphasized that Pakistani forces remain fully prepared to counter any further aggression and retain the capability to deliver a strong and decisive response. Retaliatory counteractions are ongoing, with forces maintaining high alert along the frontier.
