ISLAMABAD The Pakistan Army said on Saturday that coordinated terrorist attacks in Balochistan, sponsored by India, have been successfully thwarted by security forces after intense operations across the province and killing 133 terrorists.

According to an official statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), media-wing of Pakistan army, terrorists belonging to the Indian-backed Fitna al-Hindustan attempted to disrupt the peace and development of Balochistan by launching multiple assaults in districts including Quetta, Mastung, Nushki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur, Tump, Gwadar, and Pasni.

“These cowardly acts of terrorism, carried out on the behest of foreign masters, were aimed at destabilizing the province and targeting innocent civilians,” the ISPR said.

In Gwadar and Kharan, terrorists specifically attacked civilians, killing 18 innocent people, including women, children, the elderly, and laborers, who were described as having embraced shahadat during the attacks.

The statement praised the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and law enforcement agencies for their swift and courageous response. “Our valiant troops engaged the terrorists with precision in prolonged and daring clearance operations across Balochistan, neutralizing 92 terrorists, including three suicide bombers, and ensuring the safety of local communities,” the ISPR added.

Tragically, the army confirmed that 15 security personnel were martyred during the operations while fighting bravely on the frontlines.

The ISPR said sanitization operations continue across the affected districts to ensure that any remaining militants are neutralized, and vowed that all instigators, facilitators, and abettors of these attacks would be brought to justice.

Intelligence reports confirmed that the attacks were orchestrated and directed by terrorist ring leaders operating from outside Pakistan, who maintained direct communication with the operatives during the assaults.

The operations follow another major offensive on Friday, when 41 terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khwarij were killed in Panjgur and Harnai. With these combined efforts over two days, the total number of terrorists eliminated in ongoing operations in Balochistan has reached 133.

The ISPR emphasized that the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace. The goal is to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan and safeguard the lives of civilians and security personnel alike.

Officials warned that Pakistan would pursue and expose all those responsible for orchestrating the attacks, highlighting the alleged role of India in sponsoring and supporting terrorism in the region.
